'Star' Tessellations - Type 10

(click on the image for a larger version)

The above edge network is a stellation of the octagons in an 8,8,4 tessellation, with each octagon now forming the octagonal core of an octagram. As the original cells are not easy to see in the final network, a single octagon/octagram is shown below.

As only three edges meet at each vertex, only one tessellation can be formed using this network.  This tessellation was not included by Badoureau:

        4, 8/5, 8/5
K:-, B:-, C: 2 4 | 4/3 = t'{4,4}

Clicking onto the vertex figures above will show the sample cell superimposed on the above network.
