'Star' Tessellations - Type 9

The above edge network is a faceting is of the cells of a 12,12,3 tessellation, only dodecagons spaced sqrt(3) dodecagons apart are faceted.  A copy of this network superimposed on the original 12,12,3 tessellation is linked here.  An alternative construction is to facet a 12,12,3 tessellation, replacing each dodecagon with an dodecagram sized such that hexagons can be placed between the dodecagrams (as in the diagram below).  Unlike other facetings of the 12,12,3 tessellation, there is no equivalent faceting of the 8,8,4 tessellation.

 

As only three edges meet at each vertex, only one tessellation can be formed using this network:

        12, 6/5, 12/7
