'Star' Tessellations - Type 2

(click on the image for a larger version)

The above edge network is formed by faceting the cells of a 8, 8, 4 tessellation, replacing each octagon with an octagram where the vertices of the octagram are superimposed on the vertices of the original octagon.  A copy of this network superimposed on the original 8, 8, 4 tessellation is linked here.

Three tessellations can be formed using this network:

8/3, 4, 8/3, Inf.
K:-, B:151, C: 4 oo | 4/3

8/3, 8, 8/5, 8/7
K:-, B:151, C: 4/3 4 (2 : oo) |

8, 4/3, 8, Inf.
K:-, B:151, C: 4/3 oo | 4

In each case, clicking onto the vertex figures above will show the sample cell superimposed on the above network.
